The First Week

The Killing Fields...its very hard to believe at this very sight while Jan and I attended High School in Palisade, Colorado the people who's remains are displayed in this memorial we're being killed by the millions.  God have mercy on the souls of man.

It's very hard to see an World Olympic Event being held here but it was!

Making friends at one of the places we stayed during our visit in Phnom Penh.

Darrel use to negotiate real estate deals now he needs Jan to rescue him from his negotiations for a good deal with a local Tuk Tuk driver.

All teams are waiting at the bus station to go to their different locations in Cambodia.

oh oh....eating from a street vendor....

Shanty Town... a village within a village ...

See the home at the top?  These people live in poverty at the feet of the others.  The Lord morns for His people...

Outreach To Cambodia

The four Cambodia Outreach Teams consist of thirty seven people, twenty four adults and thirteen children.  Wow!! What a flight!  We started out in Kona, Hawaii with our first leg of the flight being to Honolulu, Hawaii.  Then to Tokyo, Japan, then to Taipei, Taiwan China, then to Bangkok, Thailand then to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.  Approximately, thirty six hours, across the date line and a day earlier door step to door step.

One Team is going to Siem Reap, Cambodia another team is going to Kompong Thom, Cambodia and another team is staying in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with the fourth team Jan and Darrel traveling between each.

Phnom Penh, the capitol of Cambodia.  It is a very busy city with motorcycles, bicycles, tuk tuks and autos vying for space in the inner streets.
